A full-size cocoon from Ron Howard's Cocoon. After the fall of Atlantis, 20 Antereans were left behind on Earth in large cocoons for 10,000 years, which returning Antereans later put in a pool of "life force" to give them enough energy to survive the journey back to Anterea.

Originating from a February 1997 Christie's East auction, this large dark-green and brown plaster cocoon features a ribbed, egg-shape body and various adhered details simulating shells, barnacles, and vine-like plant growth. It has wire cables attached from when it was previously hung for display. It exhibits paint and plaster chipping, with small pieces having fallen off, and signs that it may have had some paint work done at some point. Dimensions: 33" x 30" x 48" (84 cm x 76.25 cm x 122 cm)
