A 'face of the dead' full head appliance made for and used in the production of John Harrison's 2009 horror, Clive Barker's Book of Blood.

This horrific yet fantastic head appliance was used in the production and can be seen towards the end of the film as the dead are walking through from the spirit world to crouch down and write on Simon McNeal's (Jonas Armstrong) body.

As amazing as this piece already is, it has the added benefit of having Clive Barker himself apply the ghostly white paint to the face and neck. The face is of a decaying corpse ghost complete with long matted bloody hair and a large open scar from the top of the forehead to the top lip. The gaping mouth shows yellowed resin teeth and both eye sockets are empty, except for strands of decayed 'skin'.

This impressive 'mask' is made from foam latex that is now quite hard due to the paint applied, is in excellent production used condition and has two black VelcroÂ© straps at the back to hold it in place when worn by the actor. It comes presented on a foam mannequin head.
