A production-made Rocky Mountain rescue helicopter model miniature from Renny Harlin's Cliffhanger. The mountain rescue rangers used their orange-colored helicopter throughout the film to rescue those in need. At the film's finale, Ranger Gabe Walker (Sylvester Stallone) thwarted thief Eric Qualen (John Lithgow) by tying a winch line from the helicopter which resulted in a crash against the nearby rock face. While model miniatures were used in that sequence, foam model miniatures like this one were ultimately unseen in the final cut.

This lot consists of one foam model miniature painted orange with black windows on the cockpit. It exhibits missing rotor blades, landing skids, flaked paint, cracked foam, and a notable bend to the tail. Dimensions: 48" x 28" x 12" (122 cm x 71 cm x 30.5 cm)
