An original artwork by artist Ray Lowry depicting the English punk-rock band The Clash. The band invited Lowry to accompany them as their official artist on their US tour in 1979, and lead singer Joe Strummer gave Lowry the nickname "War Artist". At the end of that same year, Lowry created the cover artwork for the Clash's album London Calling.

This colourful artwork is one of a series of pieces created during the tour. It is rendered in ink and acrylic paint on paper, and signed by Lowry in the lower left corner. It comes presented in a black frame, with a string on the reverse for wall mounting. The frame exhibits minor marks and scuffs. Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 46.5 cm x 2 cm (14.25" x 18.25" x 0.75")
