Perseus’ (Sam Worthington) battle outfit from Louis Leterrier’s 2010 fantasy adventure remake Clash of the Titans.
Zeus (Liam Neeson), king of the gods, is tricked into sending his downtrodden brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) to Earth to make the mortals fearful of the gods’ power – never reckoning on the intervention of demi-god Perseus (Sam Worthington) as he fights to save Andromeda (Alexa Davalos), princess of Argos.
The outfit is worn by Perseus, under his armour, as he battles the Kraken during the climax of the film. A cleaner version of the costume can be seen nearer the beginning of the film, not covered by armour, which shows the pattern on the chest clearly. This costume is dirtied by Perseus’ adventures throughout the film.
The costume consists of a brown tunic top, tunic skirt, brown undershirt, and two pairs of underwear. Most of the pieces are made of a coarse woollen material, but the undershirt is predominantly a modern black sports top with the woollen sleeves sewn on. The underwear also feature a modern elastic waistband and inner lining. Because the items are custom made for the actor there are no sizes marked.
The pieces have been intentionally distressed to look battle worn and dirtied. They also show some signs of wear from production use, such as seams that are stretching slightly and fabrics plucking, but remain in very good condition.
Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres.
