Ray Harryhausen's personal hand-annotated script from the production of Desmond Davis' epic fantasy adventure Clash of the Titans. This lot comes from Harryhausen's personal collection.

The script is 127 pages long and titled "Clash of the Titans". It is credited to Beverley Cross, who had previously written Jason and the Argonauts. Cross' wife Maggie Smith appeared in the film as Thetis. This is the final screenplay as filmed, and has "Old Script" and the numbers "603-3333 RM 358" written on the front cover, with "Clash" written on the spine. The script features Harryhausen's hand-annotated notes throughout.

The script also contains photocopies of Harryhausen's artwork and storyboards. It exhibits minor discolouration on the fore edges, and some slight dog-earing. Dimensions: 28 cm x 22 cm x 2 cm (11" x 8.75" x 0.75")

This lot comes from the Ray & Diana Harryhausen Foundation, a collection of items from the long and illustrious career of special effects and animation legend Ray Harryhausen'. Proceeds from this auction will assist with the Foundation's future projects, including the ongoing preservation of Harryhausen's creature collection.
