Legendary RKO Pictures still photography department founder and Hollywood portraitist Ernest A. Bachrach's personal portrait of Orson Welles. This portrait of the multihyphenate smoking his pipe was shot on Bachrach's signature Graflex camera circa his time as set photographer for Welles' Citizen Kane, the RKO picture largely considered the greatest film ever made. It is printed in black-and-white on bordered paper. The paper exhibits minor yellowing from age. Dimensions: 11" x 14" (28 cm x 35.75 cm)
