Riddick's (Vin Diesel) snow costume from David Twohy's 2004 sci-fi sequel The Chronicles of Riddick.
Riddick wore his costume while escaping Toombs' (Nick Chinlund) mercenaries, before hijacking Toombs' ship and setting a course for New Mecca. The costume consists of a top, an undershirt, a pair of trousers and a pair of boots. The top is a woollen open-knit tunic with pieces of leather stitched around the collar and up the arms. The undershirt is a brown T-shirt (size L) with the woollen material from the top forming a V around the collar. The trousers are cargo style in brown, with elasticated stirrups around the feet. ‘Tim’ is faintly handwritten in the waistband - Tim Connolly was Diesel's stunt double - and a label reads ‘38’. The boots are leather with resin toe caps. They have been sprayed with artificial snow, and have snow from the production still stuck to their soles. The costume has been intentionally distressed, with large holes and stains on the top, but overall remains in an excellent condition.
Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals, Leather.
