Slam Guard #3 SFX Costume

Our expert's notes

A special effects slam guard costume worn in the production of the electrifying Vin Diesel sequel The Chronicles of Riddick. Riddick (Vin Diesel), hidden for five years after the events of the movie Pitch Black, is forced to come out of hiding to fight the villainous Necromongers, and fulfil a dark prophecy in the process.
This costume can be seen being worn when Riddick kills the slam guard with his tea cup, and was used specifically for this stunt sequence. The costume is composed of a pair of distressed, custom-made urban camouflage trousers (marked "Slam #3" internally), a green Gap tank top, a pair of black foam-padded arm guards and a red slam guard brassard made of reflective nylon material. The shirt has been specially modified so that it appears pinched and twisted from the turn of the tea cup Riddick uses on him. The vest is marked with fake blood stains around the pinched area, further adding to the effect.

Intentionally distressed for use on the production, the costume features some wear and grime from the Crematoria slam as well as stains from Riddick's attack, but otherwise remains in a very good production-used condition. The tank top is a size "4", with no other sizes marked.
