A costume worn in the production of the electrifying Vin Diesel sequel The Chronicles of Riddick. Riddick (Vin Diesel), hidden for five years after the events of the movie Pitch Black, is forced to come out of hiding to fight the villainous Necromongers, and fulfil a dark prophecy in the process.
Riddick can be seen wearing this costume at the beginning of the film in the U.V. System, Planet 6, where he is being chased by the mercenaries in their craft across the icy planet. Taking them out one by one in the rocky bluffs, he boards the craft and confronts the Merc leader Toombs (Nick Chinlund) before stealing his ship and leaving him on the snowy world.

The costume consists of a faux fur cape, a leather top, a t-shirt with the front of a grey jumper sewn onto the front, a worn back vest top, a pair of brown-coloured stunt trousers with a pocket on each leg, a brown canvas belt, a pair of leather and faux-fur gloves, a pair of black boots and a pair of brown leather boot covers. Distressed for use on the production, much of the costume has been weathered to give it an abused look and feel, and the fur cape, gloves and boots all have traces of fake snow still present from use during filming. The trousers have holes cut in them for the use of stunt harnesses.

Well-used, the costume remains in very good production-used condition. The leather coat is marked “Riddick Hero” at the collar, the boots are marked “Hero Riddick” and “Hero Vin”, with the trousers marked “Russ Stark”, indicating use by a stunt double. The gloves are marked as size XXL with no other sizes marked.
