A light-up communicator device from David Twohy's 2004 action sci-fi film The Chronicles of Riddick.

The wanted criminal Richard Bruno Riddick (Vin Diesel) arrives on a planet called Helion Prime and finds himself up against an invading empire called the Necromongers, an army that plans to convert or kill all humans in the universe.

This device and others like it were made for the film to be used as as set decoration on the walls of the Crematoria prison, although it is not obviously seen onscreen. The device is plastic with a light-up screen activated with a switch on the back and rubber non-functioning buttons. The device has been painted a brown rust colour to look aged and dirty. It shows minimal wear from production use with light scratches and paint chipping, the device remains in an otherwise very good condition.
