A hero Meccan prop rifle from David Twohy’s 2004 science fiction fantasy film The Chronicles of Riddick.

Galactic criminal Riddick (Vin Diesel) is on the run, with bounty hunters on his tail. He receives guidance from Aereon (Judi Dench), ambassador from the Elemental race, who informs him that a warrior army known as the Necromongers is annihilating all human life in the galaxy in a bid for universal dominance. The wise Aereon urges Riddick into battle, believing he is the one man who can defeat the Necromongers and their leader, the evil Lord Marshal (Colm Feore).

The Meccan soldiers can be seen with these guns early in the movie, when they go to Imam’s house to find Riddick and later when they attempt to fight off the Necromongers. This hero version of the weapon is made from resin and vacuformed plastic, painted grey, black and bronze to resemble metal. It includes machined aluminium components including the barrels and has Meccan designs on the trigger and various areas on the weapon. This item has been given a distressed look by the production to give it a battle-damaged feel. It has some additional cracks from production use, but is in an overall good condition.
