A minotaur creature mask made for the production of Andrew Adamson's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Minotaurs are bull-like creatures and are part of the army that assists the children in the film. The mask has been engineered to sit on top of the actor's head, enabling them to see out of the mouth and gives a larger stature to the creatures. This piece was made by covering a polyfoam core with a spandex hair cover. The face is produced from urethane and is painted with detail. The interior features an adjustment band around the rim so the piece can be tightened around the wearer's head. The horns are cast in urethane and are painted a cream color.
This piece shows some signs of wear from storage, such as marking to the paint on the eyes, but remains in overall good condition.
