A prop ten dollar bill from Tim Burton’s 2005 fantasy adventure film, based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This is the style of currency used throughout the film, most notably by Charlie (Freddie Highmore) as he finds the money on the ground, using it to buy the chocolate bar containing his golden ticket.

This item is printed in green and grey hues on thick white paper, the note has the text “National Currency” running along the top and the denomination – Ten Dollars – marked in the corners and in the lower middle of the note. Various reserve codes are printed across the face of the bill, with a face printed at its centre.

This $10 bill is in excellent condition despite its use in production and is presented in a custom-framed display featuring the film’s title artwork, a description of the piece and two stills from the film.
