A dress from the Neil Marshall action film Centurion. Based on the legend of the lost Ninth Legion, the film follows Quintus Dias (Michael Fassbender), a Roman officer caught between the politics of Rome and the rising aggression of King Gorlacon (Ulrich Thomsen) and the rebellious Picts of Scotland.
This dress was worn by Drusilla (Rachel Stirling), the daughter of the governor of Britannia, Agricola (Paul Freeman). This particular version of the dress was pre-distressed to appear as though is was soaked with wine after Diaz grabs her by the throat in rage. The dress is made of thin white material with gold braided trim detailing. Loops at the waist allow for the wearing of straps to keep the dress close to the wearer's body. Stains have been applied to make the dress stained and worn. An original wardrobe label reads "Sc 144 N20 Red Wine Soaked Dresses".
Distressed for use and with some minor wear present, the dress remains in otherwise very good production-used condition.
