Frank Abagnale, Jr.'s (Leonardo DiCaprio) screen-matched first "Frank Taylor" forged check with a Pan Am plane model miniature from Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can. Abagnale pulled Pan Am logo decals off the models of the airline's planes to pass forged checks under the alias "Frank Taylor." The hand-rendered signature and the application of the Pan Am logo on this check screen-match to the sequence in which Abagnale first passed off a fraudulent check to a distracted bank teller (Elizabeth Banks).

This lot consists of a Pan Am "Frank Taylor" check alongside an envelope in an acrylic display, as well as a Pan Am model miniature plane with a box. This lot exhibits lifted adhesive on the box, tearing and buckling, and creasing on the check from handling. Dimensions (largest) 9" x 15" x 4" (23 cm x 38 cm x 10.25 cm)
