Carl Hanratty's (Tom Hanks) license plates and ID photos from the production of Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can. Hanratty showed his FBI ID throughout the film as he attempted to apprehend Frank Abagnale, Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) by air and by land in vehicles including 1963 Ford Galaxie Town Sedan.

This lot consists of two black and yellow plastic "NY Worlds Fair 64" license plates numbered 2T1450" and hand-labeled "Tom Hanks Car FBI" and "Pass" on their backs, as well as two sheets of portrait photographs of Hanratty, one printed in color and one printed in black-and-white. One photograph is cut out of the black-and-white sheet for affixing to Hanratty's FBI ID, while the other photographs were made by production but ultimately unseen in the final cut. The plates exhibit gold-color paint stains on the reverse. Dimensions: (largest) 8.5" x 11" (21.75 cm x 28 cm)
