Chuck Noland's (Tom Hanks) screen-matched ice-skate axe from Robert Zemeckis' drama Cast Away. While stranded on a desert island, Noland fashioned an axe out of an ice skate and a piece of wood, and used it to build the raft upon which he escaped the island. It matches the one seen on-screen through wear and markings on the boot, blade and handle.

The axe is made with an intentionally distressed ice skate lashed with a natural fibre rope around a wooden stick. The blade is made of metal. Dimensions: 61 cm x 9 cm x 16 cm (24" x 3 1/2" x 6 1/4")
