Chuck Noland's (Tom Hanks) cave sweater from Robert Zemeckis' Cast Away. Chuck's attempt to escape the island was thwarted by the incoming waves, which injured him and forced him to take refuge in a nearby cave and use his sweater for warmth.

This lot consists of a hand-knit woolen sweater by Polo Ralph Lauren that has been intentionally distressed and dirtied to correlate with the increased dishevelment of the character and deterioration of his clothes by this point in the film's plot.
