Any fans of the iconic George Roy Hill helmed film know that these unique Japanese B1 wanted posters featuring Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman) and The Sundance Kid (Robert Redford) are both extremely desired and extremely hard to get. But this lot lovingly features the set of two together and complete on linen for the avid collector.

Both posters are on linen, with the Robert Redford poster linen slightly coming away from the archival paper in the bottom left corner. The Robert Redford style poster has had touch-ups to the fold lines, especially the upper vertical and horizontal lines, plus some sporadically scattered touch-ups, including the lower, upper, and right side areas. Similarly, the Paul Newman style has had a few visible touch-ups to the fold lines as well, plus scattered sporadic touch-ups including the lower area and upper left. Both display wonderfully in their muted wanted poster colors.

Seminal Western from director George Roy Hill, which paired Paul Newman and Robert Redford to magnetic effect as an outlaw duo who find themselves relentlessly pursued by a posse. The film has possibly the best-known final shot of any movie in history.
