Brotherhood Of The Wolf

Mani’s (Mark Dacascos) Axe

Stock #50063

An axe used in the production of the French horror movie Brotherhood Of The Wolf. Set before the French Revolution, the film tells the story of French knight Grégoire de Fronsac (Samuel Le Bihan), who travels to the province of Gévaudan to hunt down a giant beast that has been tormenting the local population, not realising the true horror he must face.

This memorable style of axe was used by the Native American Mani (Mark Dacascos) throughout the film and later by Grégoire de Fronsac to avenge Mani's death. Made of hard rubber to ensure safety during the film's combat sequences, the axe features leather wrapping around the grip and beaded tassels at the base and head. The weapon is finished in metallic silver and brown paint to replicate the appearance of worked iron and wood.

Lightly used, the axe displays some minor wear but remains in a very good production-used condition.
