Bridget's (Renee Zellweger) 'Sit Up Britain' Press Pass

Stock #22072

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that when one part of your life starts going okay, another falls spectacularly to pieces”

Bridget’s (Renee Zellweger) “Sit Up Britain” Press Pass from the romantic comedy Bridget Jones’s Diary.

Faced with the prospect of a failed life without a man or good prospects, thirty-something Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) starts a diary of the changes she’s making in her life - and the growing love triangle between barrister Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and her playboy boss Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) as she searches for Mr Right.

Bridget wore her pass in several scenes when she decided to change her job and work for TV company ‘Sit Up Britain’. She most notably wore the pass when conducting an exclusive TV interview for a legal case, with help from Mark Darcy.

Bridget’s laminated pass is printed with the ‘Sit Up Britain’ logo, Press Pass’ along the bottom and personal details including her name, position and the date. The back features a disclaimer and the signature of Bridget’s boss, Richard Finch. Attached to a pocket clip, the piece is framed in a custom-built hinged display that can be opened for access. The movie title artwork and two images from the film feature on the display.

The laminated pass has begun to peel apart over time and displays dust from production use. Minor chips and scratches are present on the frame, but the display and pass remain in overall very good condition.

Materials: Ferrous Metals, Paper, Plastic, Acrylic, Wood.
