Stunt Cleaver

Stock #123843

“Every man dies, not every man really lives.”

A stunt cleaver from Mel Gibson’s 1995 biopic drama Braveheart.

When his secret bride is executed for assaulting an English soldier who tried to rape her, William Wallace (Mel Gibson) begins a revolt against King Edward I of England.

This weapon and others like it were made for the production to be held by soldiers in Wallace’s army. It is a stunt version, made of rubber with a metal armature to maintain its shape. The blade has been painted silver to look like metal, and also features red paint to mimic blood around the edge.

The weapon has some wear from production use and age. A lot of the paint around the blade has cracked and worn away. Overall the weapon remains in a fair production-used condition.

Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
