A parchment message with letter seals from Mel Gibson's historical drama Braveheart. The Governor of York (Richard Leaf) received a parchment message from the Prince of Wales (Peter Hanly) denying his request for soldiers to defend York.

This lot consists of a paper message wrapped in a red polyester cord with a red resin seal and four burgundy resin stamped "wax" seals. This lot exhibits intentional creases and tears along the parchment and grime to the letter's seal.
