“Every man dies, not every man really lives.”

A helmet from Mel Gibson’s 1995 biopic drama Braveheart. Scottish warrior William Wallace (Mel Gibson) leads his countrymen in a rebellion to free his homeland from the tyranny of King Edward I of England (Patrick McGoohan).

Helmets of this style were worn by the English foot soldiers throughout the film. The helmet is metal shaped into a large dome with a wide brim with a leather chin strap affixed with studs on the inside. A sticker inside reads 'Property of Clan Wallace'. Clan Wallace provided a lot of the props for the film. The helmet shows rust from age, and it remains in an otherwise very good condition.

Materials: Ferrous Metals, Leather.
