Van Helsing's (Anthony Hopkins) SFX Communion wafer made for Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 horror film Dracula. In the film, Dracula (Gary Oldman) travels to England where he inflicts unimaginable terror. This piece was made for the finale in Transylvania in which Van Helsing applies Communion bread to Mina’s (Winona Ryder) forehead, burning her. Made of foam, the wafer shows the impression of a crucifix on one side, and shows the impression of a tube on the reverse side where smoke was pumped for the burning effect. The soft side shows some make-up residue from production use, and has hardened in some areas due to age, however the piece remains in fine used condition. Dimensions: 2" x 2" x1" (5 cm x 5 cm x 3 cm)
