An SFX cricket bat from Ridley Scott’s 2008 action thriller Body of Lies. A CIA agent on the ground in Jordan hunts down a powerful terrorist leader while being caught between the unclear intentions of his American supervisors and Jordan Intelligence.

The cricket bat was used in the early scenes when Roger Ferris’ (Leonardo DiCaprio) scenes are intercut with a man being beaten whilst tied to a chair. The bat is rubber and foam with a metal support inside. It would have had a blood pack inside that would release stage blood when it struck the actor. The bat shows signs of wear from use in the film, it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
