Sir Alistair Dormandy’s (Kenneth Branagh) jacket from Richard Curtis’ 2009 comedy The Boat That Rocked.

Dormandy wore his jacket at Christmas dinner with his family and Twatt (Jack Davenport). It is a red velvet smoking jacket and features a label from The Costume Workshop Ltd which reads ‘Ken Branagh Dormandy The Boat That Rocked’ in handwritten black pen. The label also features the name ‘Patrick’. A label on the inside right pocket reads ‘Name Chris Stenzl’, indicating that the costume was also used in other productions.

The jacket has some discolouration from some form of bleaching but overall remains in a good condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
