Officer K's (Ryan Gosling) LAPD slide reader with woman and tree side from BLADE RUNNER 2049. Blade runners, including Officer K, worked for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to decommission rogue replicants-bioengineered humanoid servants that broke free of their human masters-and retire them. K's slide reader was custom designed and built for the film and was visible on a table in the background during several shots in K's apartment. While he used it to view slides in detail, it was seen in the background and was not prominently feaured in the final film.

This black metal and mixed materials, battery operated, light-up slide reader comes with one silver-color brushed metal slide negative film of the tree outside Sapper Morton's (Dave Bautista) farm where K discovered Rachael's (Sean Young) remains. A woman and a baby are in front of the tree. The reader turns on, illuminates, and shows digital images.

This reader has an extendable side module that opens so the physical slide prop can be inserted. There is a switch that turns the screen on and it rotates through a variety of images on a timer that relate to story points such as the woman with the child, bones, etc. It also rotates through a greenscreen image for potential VFX use.

According to production wrap documents, this is one of three prop slide readers that were created for the film.

The reader remains overall in very good condition.
