Officer K's (Ryan Gosling) light-up LAPD wallet from BLADE RUNNER 2049. Officer K worked for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a "blade runner," an officer who decommissioned rogue replicants-bioengineered humanoid servants that broke free of their human masters-and retired them. He carried a light-up LAPD wallet with identification and his badge and showed it to memory maker Dr. Ana Stelline (Carla Juri) when he met her.
This lot contains one black leather, light-up bifold wallet with two clear vinyl windows inside that display a blue and white LAPD identification card on one side and a silver-color LAPD badge on the other. The exterior of the wallet features a sewn-on clear vinyl label that runs the length and width of the wallet and reads "LAPD," "Los Angeles Police Department," and foreign lettering underneath all in a light silver-color print. Three flat round batteries power tiny lights attached to the back of the ID badge, which has an illuminating panel behind it that lights up when the wallet is opened.
According to production wrap documents, this is one of two prop K light-up wallets that were created for the film.
The wallet remains overall in very good condition.
