A set of original production used storyboard dye-lines used in the creation of the Ridley Scott sci-fi masterpiece Blade Runner. This unique ring bound booklet formed part of Ivor Powell’s personal collection as Assistant Producer on the classic movie, and focus solely on a sequence at a Farm visited by Deckard, which was scene ultimately cut from the final film.
There are twenty-five pages in total of dye-line printed storyboards, two per page, each with a brief line of description beneath. Many of the pages have pen and ink detailing as well as handwritten annotations, a select few even have extra piece of paper taped on that folds out to reveal more artwork and elements, often where a panning shot was required. It has a blue card cover that has paled around the edges with age. It is marked “1. Ivor”, “Farm Sq” and has the movie title logo taped to the top right corner. This creates an awe-inspiring collection of artwork from the movie drawn by artist Sherman Labby, the booklet measures 31cm x 31cm (12.25” x 12.25”)
