A costume worn in the production of the vampiric action-adventure film Blade II. As Blade (Wesley Snipes) goes out in search of his mentor Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), a new virus is spreading through the vampire race that threatens both vampires and humans. Offered a truce, Blade joins forces with the vampire Blood Pack and begins his hunt for the violent, super-powered Reapers.
This neck ring was worn by the Blood Pack operative Nyssa Damaskinos (Leonor Varela). The costume is comprised of a bodysuit made of a form-fitting Spandex material with rubber dressing on the arms and hands and a pair of Nike trainers, also dressed in rubber webbing. Two rubber neck components, cut away from another suit by the production, are included to complete the look of the outfit. Both the bodysuit and the trainers have Momentum Design tags within, with the bodysuit labelled "Nyssa 1". The trainers marked as UK size 10 1/2, possibly for use by a stunt double. Displaying signs of natural production wear including minor tears in the rubber, the costume remains in overall good condition.
