This item is a hero SFX functional UV Bomb from the 2002 vampire sequel, Blade 2. This control operated bomb prop was made for the film and is likely seen in shots of multiple bombs towards the end of the film as Scud (Norman Reedus) and Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) prepare for the crew's sewer showdown! Crafted from a combination of resin, acrylic and plastic, this functional bomb is highly detailed and features multiple circular expanding sides which are controlled by the attached power box and two on/off r/c transmitters. The electronics of this piece have been restored so that it can function once again. The prop itself was not modified, but a new control box and r/c transmitter was designed and built so that the prop's original movements could function again. The bomb itself measures approximately 3" x 3" x 3.5" (8cm x 8cm x 9cm) and the power box 4" x 3" x 2" (10cm x 8cm x 5cm.)
