A prop sword used in the production of the vampiric action-adventure film Blade II. As Blade (Wesley Snipes) goes out in search of his mentor Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), a new virus is spreading through the vampire race that threatens both vampires and humans. Offered a truce, Blade joins forces with the vampire Blood Pack and begins his hunt for the violent, super-powered Reapers.
This sword was used by the half-breed as he goes to war with the Reapers. Made of hard rubber with a metal armature within for strength and rigidity, the sword features a highly detailed grip covered in ornate vampiric symbols and a double-edged blade. The tip of the sword has a metal section exposed to allow it to scrape against flesh and prosthetics, and traces of fake blood are still present from its time in use in this capacity on the production.

Displaying some wear to the paint finish from production use, the sword remains in overall very good condition, and measures 87.5cm x 5cm x 5cm (34.5” x 2” x 2”). It comes presented in a stunning custom framed display featuring the film’s title artwork, stills from the production and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.
