A hero folding glaive used in the production of the vampiric action-adventure film Blade II. As Blade (Wesley Snipes) goes out in search of his mentor Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), a new virus is spreading through the vampire race that threatens both vampires and humans. Offered a truce, Blade joins forces with the vampire Blood Pack and begins his hunt for the violent, super-powered Reapers.
This hero glaive was used by the daywalking vampire hunter Blade as he goes in search of the Reapers. The unique metal weapon features two curved double-edged blades with serrated top edges. A hidden rotating mechanism, located within the cylindrical core of the weapon, allows the blades to fold together, turning the claw-like blade into a double-bladed device of death that Blade puts to good use dispatching his enemies. Several traces of fake blood are still present on the blades, showing its extensive use on set.

Featuring some minor wear from use, the glaive remains in excellent production-used condition, and comes presented in a bespoke framed display featuring the film’s title artwork, stills from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece. The glaive measures 28cm x 12cm x 3cm (11” x 4.75” x 1.25”) when unfolded and is supplied with a New Line certificate of authenticity.
