Blade's (Wesley Snipes) spring-loaded folding metal glaive from Guillermo del Toro's Blade II. In the film's opening sequence, Daywalker Blade hunted a group of Czech vampires while seeking to free Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) from imprisonment.

First introduced in Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan's The Tomb of Dracula No. 10, the half-human half-vampire Blade exclusively used melee weapons such as teakwood daggers and mahogany stakes to slay vampires prior to the film trilogy. For Stephen Norrington's Blade, the Daywalker's signature glaives were built by master blacksmith Tony Swatton, with their original designs immortalized in the Season 6 episode "Blade's Daywalker Glaives" of Andy Signore's Man at Arms series.

For Blade II, production expanded Blade's glaive arsenal by creating three new designs: one a slight modification of Swatton's original, and two additional, newly updated variants which did not appear in the final cut. This glaive, one of those two variants, was dubbed a "shredder" in concept artwork.

While ultimately unseen in the final cut, Snipes did wield this style of glaive as Blade in promotional photography. Created for shots where the weapon expanded or contracted, it features two curved serrated metal blades screwed into a central locking mechanism designed to allow one of the blades to fold inward when pressed. A Celtic-style Daywalker symbol is applied on the top of the mechanism. The glaive exhibits scratching and fading to the symbol from production use. Dimensions: 10" x 6.75" x 1" (25.5 cm x 17.25 cm x 2 cm)
