Baron Gregor de Berghmann's (Boris Karloff) graveyard cloak from Roy William Neill's The Black Room. At the start of the film, an adult Gregor visited the graves of his parents wearing his cloak while in the company of family advisor Colonel Paul Hassel (Thurston Hall). A cruel and heartless ruler, Gregor's dark wardrobe reflected his true personality, opposite of his twin brother Anton (Boris Karloff), who wore brighter clothing.

This lot consists of one felted wool cloak with the front sewn closed, a hook-and-eye closure, and piped detailing along the front. It features a United Costumers, Inc. label on the interior hand-marked "Boris Karloff" in black ink. This lot exhibits pilled fabric, discoloration on the label, and faded ink.
