A set of original pencil storyboards used in the production of the John Carpenter cult classic Big Trouble In Little China. Caught between two warring clans when a routine airport pick-up goes awry, trucker Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) winds up fighting powerful sorcerers and ancient spirits. Can Jack save the girl, stop a wedding and save the world from Lo Pan (James Hong)?
This set of original production artwork, acquired from the collection of esteemed VFX co-ordinator Richard Edlund, was used for visualising the scene in which Thunder (Carter Wong), one of the Three Storms, blows himself up after finding his master Lo Pan killed at the hands of Jack Burton. Hand-drawn on US Legal-sized paper, the set is comprised of three pages of storyboards showing the rapid inflation and explosion of Thunder within the bowels of Lo Pan’s temple.

Offering a fantastic insight into one of the film's most famous scenes, the set displays some minor wear from use but remains in very good condition, and is presented in a stunning custom framed display featuring the production’s title artwork and two stills from the film.
