General Ursus' (James Gregory) stunt pistol from Ted Post's sci-fi sequel Beneath the Planet of the Apes. General Ursus carried his gun, holstered at his hip, throughout the film.

This stunt pistol is hand-painted black to resemble metal. Also included is a custom-made foam base painted beige to resemble stone, inset with two acrylic posts, and affixed with a plaque featuring the film's logo. The pistol exhibits extensive paint flaking and some cracks from production and age. Dimensions (displayed): 37 cm x 28 cm x 18 cm (14.5" x 11" x 7")
