A gorilla soldier rifle from Ted Post's sci-fi sequel Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Ape soldiers carried crude brown rifles that resembled modified M1 Carbines throughout the film.

This rifle features a sculpted, solid wood body painted reddish-brown with a dowel added at front and painted black to resemble a barrel, a separate midsection bolt and sight element painted black, and two metal brackets with a black nylon shoulder strap affixed are screwed into the wood. It exhibits various nicks, scuffs, and scratches throughout its finish from production use and handling. Dimensions: 35" x 6" x 2" (89 cm x 15.25 cm x 5 cm)
