A large-size Roman cornu from William Wyler's Ben-Hur. Cornu horns sounded as the victors of the intense sea battle were paraded through the streets upon their return to Rome.

This curved brown metal horn features a matching bar across it and brown leather and furred cowhide strips throughout. The cornu exhibits wear from use and age, including denting, discoloration, the loss of most of its once gold-color finish, and the strips are coming unadhered. Dimensions: 33" x 28" x 6" (84 cm x 71.25 cm x 15.25 cm)
