A cable-controlled Lost Soul puppet from Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. As the newly-deceased Maitlands (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) walked through a hall in the underworld, they stopped by a door after its shade rolled up and revealed ghostly souls floating through space. The janitor (Simmy Bow) told them it was the room of "Lost Souls," the place where exorcised ghosts went as "death for the dead."

This ornately-detailed puppet features a foam head with acrylic eyes, teeth painted in shades of gray, foam bones, and a gauze-like shroud. Cables attached to the back of the head extend out through the bottom of the top foam appliance. The cables are taped to the bust for stability.

Also included is an unfinished, unused replacement foam face mask cast from the same molds as the cable-controlled puppet during production and designed to appear desiccated and corpse-like. This additional face could potentially be used to patch and repair the more deteriorated face on the puppet in this lot. The puppet exhibits aged foam and should be handled with care. Dimensions: 36" x 24" x 10" (91.5 cm x 61 cm x 25.5 cm)
