Cylon helmet components from the original incarnation of the hit sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. Reeling from a disastrous surprise attack by the artificial life forms known as the Cylons, the survivors of the Twelve Colonies band together under the protection of an antiquated warship – the Battlestar Galactica – in the hope of finding a new home.
This helmet was made by the MCA-57 VFX model shop for the production of the show. The helmet comes in two halves and is made of vacuformed plastic. Also included are resin pieces that form the mouth and eye-visor components of the helmets that have been painted grey and black respectively. These pieces show minimal wear and are offered in overall good condition.
