Two prototype Fix-It models on a display from Matthew Robbins' Batteries Not Included. Small mechanical alien lifeforms known as Fix-Its helped the tenants of a building facing demolition.

These hand-painted resin prototypes, one gray with clear eyes and one green with a brown stripe and silver-color eyes, were created at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) as design reference models. Several veteran ILM artists, including Ralph McQuarrie and Paul Huston, contributed to their designs. Both Fix-Its were mounted to display bases. The green and brown one has gone through sympathetic restoration to reattach it to its legs. This lot exhibits chipped paint, loose components, notable adhesive marks, discoloration, and unfinished display bases. Dimensions: (each) 4.5" x 4" x 5.5" (11.5 cm x 10.25 cm x 14 cm)
