A prototype grapple gun handle and barrel from the 2016 Zack Snyder superhero adventure Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the film, Superman (Henry Cavill) finds himself at odds with Batman (Ben Affleck) when the Dark Knight sees the other's powers as a great threat against the human race.

Batman uses his grappling gun throughout the film. The prototype handle features a pointed grip as well as a barrel sculpted with ridged detailing that is not fixed to the handle, but can be inserted into the handle via a small metal rod. The pieces are made of grey resin and show minimal signs of wear, remaining in very good overall condition.
