Batman's (George Clooney) Batsuit from Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin. Batman wore his signature Batsuit when he and Robin (Chris O'Donnell) endeavoured to take down Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) and Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

The Dark Knight's signature Batsuit was redesigned for the film by costume illustrator Miles Teves and key sculptor Jose Fernandez under the direction of Schumacher and Academy Award®-nominee Bob Ringwood. Influenced by statues from ancient Greece, the suit incorporated extensive technological updates - such as a buzzsaw and ice skates - into the Panther Suit style created for Batman Forever.

Made of black foam latex, vinyl, resin, and leather with an iridescent metallic finish, this lot consists of a bat-shaped cowl, a full-length cape with two cape clips, a muscled tunic with Batman's signature emblem engraved on the chest, matching tights, peaked and finned gauntlet gloves, and a pair of knee-high boots. The cowl and cape are marked "CG," while the emblem and fasteners are replicas created from original molds to complete the costume for display.

The costume comes dressed on a full-size mannequin designed and painted to resemble Clooney and mounted to a dark grey wooden base. Following production, it was sympathetically repainted to return it to its original production palette. This display exhibits minor grime throughout the costume components.
