Batgirl's light-up SFX Batblade from Batman & Robin. Batgirl rode her Batblade over the frozen streets of Gotham City during her, Batman, and Robin's final assault on Mr. Freeze's forces. The trio's unique new vehicles, much like their new suits, were designed to handle the arctic conditions that Mr. Freeze had enveloped the city in. This SFX Batblade was created without a front wheel for use in capturing close-up shots of Batgirl atop the Batblade, as a full-size front wheel would have physically obstructed the ability to place a camera directly in front of the Batblade for the close-up shots.

This SFX Batblade is made primarily of fiberglass over a metal frame, painted black and silver-color, and features a dark-tinted windshield and lighting wired throughout, including a blue backlit black Bat Emblem on the front, yellow lighting inside and in the simulated gauges, blue lighting along the back of the top section, and a red bat-shaped brake light on the rear. It has a black leather seat and open pipes on the dashboard and on the sides, where handles and fins would have been inserted, respectively. A large black rubber wheel is present on the back, while the open front only has a small swivel wheel for moving the Batblade. The metal frame is discolored brown from age, and the fiberglass body exhibits scuffing and paint chipping throughout. Dimensions: 80" x 43" x 20" (203.25 cm x 109.25 cm x 50.75 cm)
