This lot will be sold on Tuesday, 1st December (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1 (lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. Catwoman's (Michelle Pfeiffer) boots from Tim Burton's superhero sequel Batman Returns. Catwoman wore her boots as she sought vengeance against her abusive boss Max Shreck (Christopher Walken). Catwoman's costume was designed by Academy Award®-nominee Bob Ringwood.

Made of black leather, the boots are knee-high, with stiletto heels and a lace-up front. The lot displays some wear from production use and age, including some scuffing and scratches. There appears to be minor paint transfer on the boots, with small sections of brown and green paint, most notably at the top of the tongue. Each boot contains a custom-made mannequin leg and has clear pieces of rubber adhered to its sole, allowing the pair to stand freely for display purposes. Dimensions (each boot): 23 cm x 10 cm x 49 cm (9" x 4" x 19 1/4")
