An original hand-painted cel of Mr Freeze falling taken from the climax of the second feature film in the DC Animated Universe; Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero.

Mr. Freeze has kidnapped Barbara Gordon and is holding her on an abandoned oil rig. When Batman and Robin arrive to rescue her the ensuing gunfight causes a fire to break out which begins devouring the structure. Batman is holding on to Freeze as he hangs off the edge of the platform but some falling debris causes Batman to lose his grip.

This cel setup is a classic exit for a villain as Freeze falls further away from the lens and into the vanishing point of the frame. It's a trope that leads the audience to think that there's a chance he may still be alive.

Presented framed, this cel is accompanied by a Warner Bros Certificate of Authenticity. There are some scratches on the acrylic in the top right but the main image is unaffected. Dimensions (framed): 44 cm x 51 cm x 3 cm (17.25" x 20" x 1.25")
