A matte painting of Wayne Manor hand-painted by legendary special visual effects artist Syd Dutton for Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever. Bruce Wayne, aka Batman (Val Kilmer), retreated to his Bat Cave through the cliffs beneath his expansive family mansion. Shots of the manor as seen from the sea used reversed images of Dutton's mattes to maintain continuity between shots.

This painting partially alight is rendered in mixed media on masonite. It is applied along the edges with tape strips and screwed into wood backing. The painting exhibits scuffs and folding to its corners, scratching throughout, and minor staining from production use and handling. Dimensions: 48" x 96" x 1.5" (122 cm x 244 cm x 4 cm)
